Getting everyone on your site to understand a new safety system shouldn't take days of training.

We built SafeSite to be simple enough that workers get it in minutes. Three main functions, all running on something everyone already has – their phone.

The basics: geo-zones

Everything starts with a geo-zone set up for your specific worksite. Walk onto the site? You're automatically logged in. Leave? You're logged out. No manual check-ins, no forgotten sign-outs.

The zone knows you're there. That's it.

Evacuation alarm: everyone can alert everyone

Hold the evacuation button for three seconds. Every phone on site reacts immediately.

Music playing? Phone on silent? Do Not Disturb mode? Doesn't matter. Critical alerts override everything. The phone vibrates and sounds as loud as it can.

This isn't limited to supervisors. Any worker who sees danger can activate the alarm. Because the person closest to the problem usually sees it first.

Mass messaging: information that actually reaches people

Administrators send messages to everyone within the geo-zone. Safety updates, schedule changes, whatever needs to reach the whole crew.

The smart part? Automatic translation. Write in Swedish, and it displays in Polish on a Polish worker's phone. Or English. Or whatever language they've set their phone to. No more information lost in translation chains from morning meetings.

If you're off sick that day, you don't get the push notification. But you can read it later when you're back.

Phonebook: find who you need, when they're actually there

Everyone connected to the project shows up in one directory. Search by trade – electrician, plumber, whatever you need.

Green dot? That person is on site right now. No calling people who aren't there. No wondering if they'll show up later.

Works as an attendance log too.

Settings and admin functions

Switch between projects if you work multiple sites. Update your profile. Check the map showing the geo-zone boundaries and assembly point.

Administrators get extra features. They approve user requests when someone new joins the project. They access full alarm history – who triggered it, when, who was involved. They manage site status updates.

Privacy without surveillance

During normal operations, the system knows you're in the zone. It doesn't track your specific position. No monitoring bathroom breaks. No watching who's in the break room.

Only during an active alarm does your exact location open up. So coworkers and rescue services can find you if you need help.

That's the privacy approach that gets union buy-in and worker trust.

Learn the details

Our founder Jimmy Laakso walks through each function in a series of short instruction videos. Each one runs 2-5 minutes. No fluff, just what you need to get started.
